Manchester City have been drawn in the same group as Italian giants Juventus in the Europa League stages after the draw was made in Switzerland on Friday morning.
Both sides will be expected to comfortably progress from Group A after being drawn alongside Austrian side Salzburg and Polish side Lech Posnan.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have been drawn in a tough-looking Group K alongside Steaua Bucharest, Serie A side Napoli and Celtic’s conquerors in the final qualifying round, FC Utrecht.
