Manchester City – Adam Johnson (above)
An unsung hero of a star-studded Man City squad, Adam Johnson, has had a solid season to date since joining from Middlesbrough in January. The left winger may not be prolific in front of goal, however, his work-rate and ingenuity in midfield will be an essential element if City are to take all three points at Eastlands tonight.
Tevez, Adebayor and Bellamy are the regular recipients of the adulations after victories with Johnson quite often being overlooked. Johnson rarely gives the ball away and will be a threat to whichever right back Harry Redknapp opts for.
Tottenham – Gareth Bale (above)
An outstanding performance last time out in the one nil win over Bolton, Gareth Bale, has been on fire this season. The trusty left back is always dangerous going forward as he showed against Manchester United a few games back and can find himself in goal scoring positions with ease.
