Manchester United had a comfortable start to their Premier League campaign with a 3-0 crushing of Newcastle United at Old Trafford last night.
Dimitar Berbatov has begun to rekindle his form of old and it was the former Bulgarian international who hit the first goal of the night after 33 minutes.
In fact, had Berbatov been slightly sharper in front of goal last night he could have ended up with a hat-trick. However, midfielder Darren Fletcher poked home the second before half-time and Ryan Giggs came off the bench to net the third to complete the rout.
