Irish supporters of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool can look forward to a host of games involving their favoured clubs on Setanta’s live schedule during the first months of the new Premier League season.
Setanta Sports has confirmed the first 14 of its 33 exclusively live Barclays Premier League fixtures to be screened every Saturday from August to November.
Fans of Manchester United can see their side in action against Sunderland, West Bromwich Albion, Wolves, Wigan Athletic and Blackburn Rovers before the end of November.
Three Liverpool fixtures – against West Brom, Sunderland and Blackburn – will be screened live on Setanta Sports while Arsenal’s home games against newly-promoted Blackpool, Bolton Wanderers and West Ham United will also receive the Setanta Saturday treatment.
Other games of note will see the meeting of Aston Villa and West Ham on opening day, newly-arrived top four side Spurs take on Wolves and moneybags Manchester City meet last season’s surprise packets Birmingham City.
Michael O’Rourke, co-founder of Setanta Sports, said: “We are delighted to start this season with a very strong set of fixtures. Fans of Man United, Liverpool and Arsenal will be pleased. Plus there will be many more chances to see these great teams in action in our Champions League, Europa League and our FA Cup coverage.â€
