Ireland’s Damien McGrane lies five shots behind leader Thomas Bjorn after three rounds of the Estoril Open in Portugal.
McGrane shot a 68 to go to -14 and will start the final round in outright third behind Bjorn, who leads on -19 and Australian Richard Green, who is three shots off the pace on -16.
Bjorn was the overnight leader alongside Carlos Del Moral and shot a 65 on the third day to rocket to the top of the leaderboard. Ireland’s Darren Clarke and Gary Murphy are well down the field at -6 and -3 respectively.
