McLaughlin makes eight changes to Ulster side

Ulster have made eight changes from the side that defeated Aironi last weekend for the Magners League clash with Edinburgh on Friday evening.

Ulster have made eight changes from the side that defeated Aironi last weekend for the Magners League clash with Edinburgh on Friday evening.

In the backs, Jamie Smith, Paul Emerick, Ian Whitten and Andrew Trimble come in instead of Adam D’Arcy, Tommy Seymour, Paddy Wallace and David McIlwaine, while in the forwards, Bryan Young, Andi Kyriacou, Ryan Caldwell and Stephen Ferris replace Nigel Brady, Declan Fitzpatrick, Tim Barker and Pedrie Wannenburg.

Wannenburg features on a strong-looking bench alongside Rory Best, BJ Botha and Ian Humphreys.

Ulster take on Edinburgh at Ravenhill on Friday evening at 8.05pm.

Ulster: Jamie Smith; Paul Emerick, Darren Cave, Ian Whitten, Andrew Trimble; Niall O’Connor, Paul Marshall; Bryan Young, Andi Kyriacou, Tom Court, Johann Muller (Captain), Ryan Caldwell, Stephen Ferris, Chris Henry, Robbie Diack.
