Birmingham City have reportedly joined the posse chasing the signature of Hull City midfielder Stephen Hunt, with both West Brom and Wolves already having declared an interest in the player.
The Republic of Ireland international is likely to be sold by Hull this summer for as little as £3 million to alleviate financial problems at the club.
Birmingham manager Alex McLeish is continuing his effort to strengthen his squad following his offer for Wigan’s Charles N’Zogbia was turned down.
Meanwhile, Birmingham have offered Hunt’s international team-mate Keith Fahey a new contract with the club.
