Paul McShane has been ruled out of Ireland’s European Championship qualifier with Armenia on Friday with a hamstring injury.
The 24-year old defender has returned to his club, Hull City, for treatment but could return for the home clash with Andorra next Tuesday if the injury clears up sufficiently before then.
Damien Duff, Keith Treacy and Keith Andrews have also been ruled out of Friday’s clash in Yerevan, while Darren O’Dea is a doubt with a knee injury.
