Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel will miss the FA Cup final after undergoing minor knee surgery.
Mikel sustained the knock in Chelsea’s win over Bolton in April, but he hopes to play for Nigeria at the upcoming World Cup, in which their first game is against Argentina on 12 June.
Mikel, who will not feature for Chelsea again this season, said: “I had an operation on Wednesday and it was successful, I will be hopefully be back in two weeks.”
