Rafael Nadal overcame a scare against Robin Soderling to progress to the semi final of Wimbledon.
Second seed Nadal lost the first set 3-6, before recovering to defeat sixth seed Soderling 3-6 6-3 7-6 6-1 on Court Number One.
Soderling raced into a 5-0 lead in the first set in less than 20 minutes, and survived a brief Nadal rally to take the set.
Nadal took the second set easily, and the third on a tie-break before taking the fourth set 6-1 following a Soderling injury.
The Spaniard will now face either Scotland’s Andy Murray or France’s Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in his fourth Wimbledon semi-final.
