Here we have the latest Ford advert from Australia that features two talking toads, a four-cylinder engine and an unexpected ending.

Ford’s new Falcon (not sold over here, sadly) now comes with EcoBoost, if you live in Australia that is.

Basically, EcoBoost technology allows smaller engines to perform like their bigger brothers, but with 20 per cent better fuel efficiency and 15 per cent reduced greenhouse gasses. So Ford are all about saving the environment – or so you might think.

Well apparently, saving the environment, or more to the point, what lives in the environment, wasn’t on the list of priorities for the marketing guys from Ford Australia. In the ad we see two cane toads taking to each other, but only one of them makes it to the end.

They begin by talking about ‘back cream’ which is actually a secretion from the toads back glands and it turns out that it’s lethal to other species but it’s an aphrodisiac to the toads.

After licking his own back cream – which frankly looks disgusting – one toad becomes all loved up while talking to his buddy.

We won’t ruin the rest of the ad, but it’s bloody hilarious and a good example of why Australian adverts are some of the best out there.
