Birmingham 0-0 Liverpool

Birmingham City and Liverpool played out a drab scoreless draw at St. Andrews on Sunday afternoon.

The home side had the better chances throughout and were denied on a number of occasions by Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina, who made outstanding saves from Craig Gardner and Cameron Jerome.

Liverpool finished the game strongly, but failed to create any real chances of note and rarely troubled Ben Foster in the Birmingham goal.

Following today’s result, Birmingham climb to fifth in the table on six points, while Liverpool remain in the bottom half of the table in 13th.
