Red Bull driver Mark Webber secured victory in Sunday’s British Grand Prix and then voiced his displeasure with his own team.

Webber climbed to third place in the drivers’ standings, seven ahead of his team-mate Sebastian Vettel, who could manage only seventh spot at Silverstone having started on pole.

The Australian was unhappy with his team after events on Saturday, when a part was removed from his car and installed in Vettel’s vehicle.

Speaking into the in-car radio, Red Bull team boss Christian Horner said after Webber passed beneath the chequered flag, “Well done Mark, you can smile now.”

And Webber responded by saying, “Well done guys – not bad for a number two driver!”

Webber now lies 17 points behind Championship leader Lewis Hamilton, who chased him home in second place at Silverstone, with Mercedes GP’s Nico Rosberg in third. Jenson Button remains in second place in the drivers’ standings but is now 12 points adrift of his McLaren teammate.
