Kerry’s bid for a fourth All-Ireland title in five years has been boosted by the return to the panel of former All-Star Aidan O’Mahony.
O’Mahony absented himself from the Kingdom set-up two months ago citing personal reasons.
But the 27-year-old, who has won four All-Ireland titles, two All-Stars and the Man of the Match award in the 2006 final against Mayo, returned to the fold earlier this week.
Mike McCarthy, who won the centre half back spot from O’Mahony last year, is expected to continue in the pivotal defensive role for the Munster SFC final against Limerick on Sunday week (4 July).
