JOE’s world-renowned late deals are back to make sure your weekend or week ahead is as cheap as chips and twice as satisfying. This week we’re looking at cheap hotel stays with Bewleys, one week stints around the Med and some cheap flight-only deals with Aer Arann.
Cheap stays in Bewleys Hotel
The Bewleys chain is offering a range of special offers in its various hotels this weekend. You can get the head down on a two night weekend special in the magnificently restored Bewleys Hotel Ballsbridge in Dublin from just €149.
The Bewleys Newlands Cross is offering a similar deal only this time for a recession-busting €99 for two nights. The offer is valid on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights so take your pick. For more information click here.

Flight only deals
There are some nice little flight-only deals on the go with Aer Arann this week, most of which are from the airports other than the main ones. You can fly from Waterford to Manchester from €44, from Cork to Belfast from €39, Kerry to Manchester for €39, Glasgow to Donegal from €39 and Galway to London (Luton) from €60. These are one way, but they do include all taxes and charges.
Secret Hotels
www.lastminute.ie is running their famous ‘Secret Hotels’ offer again this week. The deal is they will hook you up with a stay in a four or five star hotel in Dublin or in any number of UK cities for a knock-down price.
The catch is, the hotels don’t want it known that they are practically giving some rooms away while charging others top dollar. But although you don’t get to know the name of the hotel you will be staying in until you’ve booked, you can rest assured it will be a swanky little number. Click here for more information.
