Malachy O’Rourke has resigned from his position as Fermanagh Senior football manager, following a poor All-Ireland campaign.
The Ulster championship began well for Fermanagh with a 1-13 to 0-13 win over Cavan in Breffni Park, before a disappointing 0-21 2-08 loss there to Monaghan in the Ulster semi-final.
Fermanagh’s campaign was ended by an 0-11 0-7 qualifier loss to Armagh in Enniskillen on 11 July.
A statement from the Fermanagh board read, “We would like to thank Malachy and all his backroom team for all their commitment and dedication over the last three years. We wish them all the very best for the future.â€
