Hands up, we all make mistakes when it comes to typing. Whether it’s on a tablet, laptop or smartphone, it is easy to press the wrong button or, even worse, have autocorrect do its evil magic.
But if you’re tweeting about wanting migrants to be fluent in English, you better get your own English spot on.
Sadly for Tory MP Andrew Selous, that fate befell him today. The UK government today announced that anyone who receivd payments from the state would have to prove they could speak English or undertake a course in the language.
Selous tried to post his approval of the measure but instead, he made a massive bags of it.
The tweet has since been deleted but it has to be one of the most embarrassing Twitter typos we’ve ever seen.
