Looks like someone from the West Midlands Police over in the UK could be in the doghouse after writing a police report on behalf of his police dog…
The report in question (below) was ‘signed’ by PC Peach in response to requests from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) for a statement from a police constable. Something obviously went down on the streets on they needed a thorough report from a police officer who was at the scene… and that’s where ‘PC’ Peach comes in.
The CPS must have gotten their wires crossed somewhere along the lines as ‘PC’ Peach is actually PD Peach – the ‘D’ stands for dog.
After several requests from the CPS for an account from ‘PC’ Peach on a particular matter, one officer from West Midlands Police, who was obviously sick of telling the CPS that Peach was a dog, wrote up the following:

It’s good to see that someone in the West Midlands Police force has a sense of humour, however, the joke hasn’t gone down too well with some.
‘The matter will be investigated,’ DCI Julian Harper, from West Midlands Police, told Huffington Post UK.
‘The Professional Standards Department are looking into this, early enquiries suggest it is a light-hearted exchange as a result of a misunderstanding around a police dog and a police officer.’
