We’re used to hearing of rally cars crashing into things, but it’s not that often you hear of one crashing onto a house. However, that’s exactly what happened here.
We’ve featured Juho Hänninen and his rally driving ways here on JOE before, and I was lucky enough to see the man in action at this year’s Circuit of Ireland where I had a chat with his constructer teammate, Irishman Robert Barrable. So believe me when I say Hänninen has some serious skills. However, he seemed to be lacking them somewhat over the weekend during the San Remo rally.

If this was Ireland, he’d be clamped by now…
It’s a bit of a strange sight, seeing a car perched on top of a roof, however, you have to hand it to Hänninen for thinking he could get the car back down on the track. His co-driver even chimes in with “Let it go, we’re on top of a house,” reports Jalopnik. Ah well, at least he tried.
