A man in China decided to post himself to his missus as a romantic prank. While the man-sized package was signed and sealed… it wasn’t delivered.
Romantic pranks have kind of fallen to the wayside these days, because instead of romantically pranking their missus, blokes are simply pranking their better halves and then posting the results on YouTube for the world to see. However, one lad in China would probably prefer if the world never knew about his romantic prank.
Hu Seng, from Chongqing city, southern China, paid a courier firm to deliver him to partner Li Wang as a joke. It seemed simple: climb into a box, get the courier to seal it up and deliver it to the intended destination.
The claustrophobic journey should have only taken 30 minutes, but the courier got the address wrong and Seng was trapped for nearly three hours, with little oxygen left.
By time Seng’s missus opened the box he had passed out and he required a medic to revive him.
“I didn’t realise it would take so long,” admitted Seng. ” I tried to make a hole in the cardboard but it was too thick and I didn’t want to spoil the surprise by shouting.”
A spokesman for the courier said, “If Seng told us what he was doing at the start we would not have taken the parcel.
“Even when we accept animals they have to go in special containers so they can breath.”
Eh… so why did the courier accept him in the first place? Who knows? All we know is that Seng should have sang to himself to keep calm… but what should he have sung?
