Yaya Touré bagged a hat-trick as Manchester City kept up with the Premier League leaders, beating hapless Fulham 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

Touré scored twice from the penalty spot for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, while his third was an absolute cracker.

Fernandinho and Martin Demichelis were also on the mark for the 2011-2012 champions.

Papiss Cissé’s injury-time winner was enough to see off Crystal Palace for Newcastle, whose manager Alan Pardew was seeing out the second of his three-game stadium ban for headbutting Hull’s David Meyler.

Goals from Leighton Baines, Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley gave Everton a 3-2 win over Swansea – who responded through Wilfriend Bony and Ashley Williams – while Ireland striker Shane Long was on target in Hull’s 2-0 win over stuggling West Brom.

Finally, Norwich’s 2-0 win over Sunderland featured this absolutely glorious long range volley from Alex Tettey.
