It has been confirmed that Manchester City have agreed a deal with Primera Liga side Valencia to sign Spanish international winger David Silva.
The 24 year old Silva has agreed a five-year deal with City for a reported £29m, subject to a medical. He will join up with the rest of his City team-mates once his country’s World Cup is over.
“I am thrilled about playing in England with Manchester City,” said Silva.
“I believe the Premier League is one of the best competitions in the world and I want to bring success to City.”
Silva has scored 29 goals in 155 appearances for Valencia, and has earned 37 caps for Spain.
He was previously linked to City’s neighbours Manchester United.
