Liverpool central defender Martin Skrtel is expected to be fit in time to join up with the Slovakia international squad for the World Cup in South Africa next month.
Skrtel returned to full training with the Reds today following ten weeks out of action with a broken metatarsal in his right foot.
The injury was sustained during Liverpool’s 3-1 Europa League win over Unirea Urziceni on 25 February.
Skrtel will be a key player for Slovakia in South Africa and are pitted against New Zealand, Italy and Paraguay in Group F.
