Are you already a bit stuck for cash this year? Then it might be worth digging out your Prize Bonds as they could be a secret goldmine of hidden cash.
If you’re strapped for cash at the moment then it might be a good idea to go to the token cluttered drawer in the house that’s overflowing with paper and dig out your prize bonds. Why? Well, between 1991 and 2004, four big prizes have been won only to go unclaimed, apparently.
So how big are these prizes, we hear you ask? Well, four €20,000 prizes have been won between 1991 and 2004, but they’ve gone unclaimed all these years.
The four prize-winners live in Dublin, Limerick and Cork, so if you live in these areas and it’s been a while since you’ve checked your ticked, do it now. You could be on to a hidden goldmine.
However, it’s not just those four big prizes that have gone unclaimed. If you check out the Prize Bond website you’ll realise there are a lot more prizes waiting to be collected. Literally thousands of prizes are just resting away in the Government’s accounts at the moment.
You could be in with a chance of winning €75, €250, €1,000 or one of the four €20,000 prizes that we’ve told you about. It’s better off in your pocket at the end of the day.
