They’ve only been on the box a wet week, yet already there’s talk that the ‘stars’ of TV3’s Tallafornia are set to make a fortune through lucrative personal appearances.

All Irish viewers have seen of the Tallafornia cast to date has been a teaser episode on TV3 and a couple of ads, yet that’s all that was needed to make nightclub owners across the country go weak at the knees and fall over themselves to get the south Dubliners to appear at their venue.

“The Tallafornia cast have already received over 30 requests to attend events in the New Year. That’s after just one show,” a showbiz insider told The Irish Daily Mirror.

According to the Mirror, all of the female members of the cast – Kelly, Natalie, and Nikita are already taking personal appearance bookings at six grand a pop, while figures of approximately four grand per head have been touted for the vain and muscular male cast members to show up.

The current elite of the Irish society scene are likely to be unimpressed with these new kids on the block moving in on their turf, with the likes of the ubiquitous Georgia Salpa, Rosanna Davison and, God forbid, Glenda Gilson, set to lose out on some easy money as a result.

“When it gets going properly they will be the only names worth having at your party or event,” the insider added.

“So that will be a financial kick in the teeth to the likes of Georgia (Salpa) who makes a mint launching events.”

With the Tallafornia girls trying to invade Georgia and Rosanna’s territory, it raises the prospect of massive, scantily clad catfight taking place between them at venues across the land.

Now that is something we’d pay to see.
