Twitter seems to be universal in its belief that David Moyes must leave the Manchester United manager’s seat, following his side’s 2-0 defeat to Everton on Sunday.
United are now officially out of the running for Champions League football next season after goals from Leighton Baines and Kevin Mirallas sealed a win for Roberto Martinez’s side.
One of the worst things about United’s season is that fourth was still there for the taking at the halfway stage.

That’s one of the best games I’ve ever seen Wayne Rooney play for Everton.

19 years of Champions League football over for Manchester United, how the mighty have fallen. pic.twitter.com/I24gu0cOBU

First time I’ve said it but Moyes has to go. Not out of impatience, out of no sign of improvement.

If Moyes had anything about him he’d resign. Van Gaal wants the job, give it him, he’d be much much better than Moyes IMO.

Moyes and #mufc have reached that point where every win feels like an irrelevance and every defeats feels seismic. That’s not a good thing.

Seventh placed team, who have won only one match against team above, losing away at fifth placed team is not a shock really is it?
