The lads in China are at it again, making random products and then claiming Apple makes them. This time they’re trying it with a stove.
Chinese police raided two warehouses during the week and inside they found a whole load of Apple based products. The only thing was, the ‘Apple products’ were not iPhones, iPads or even iPods. Instead, they were gas stoves.
In total, the police seized 681 gas stoves from the two warehouses located in Wuhan, China.
Now, the crooks involved didn’t just stop at naming the stoves ‘Apple stoves’. Instead, they went one step further and decided to label them ‘Apple iPhone stoves’ as can be seen from the photo above.
Some of the stoves even came with a compliance certification label, which stated that the products were from “Apple China Limited”.
This is just the most recent find in a spate of product fraud cases in China, which involve fraudsters selling fake ‘labelled’ products or simply selling random tat which they claim to be produced by a major company, such as Apple.
Poor Apple just can’t get a brake over in the Far East.
