We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but it looks like we’re in for a few showers this week, so make sure to bring a brolly to work.
Is the sun shining where you are right now? If so then you’re one of the lucky few who has experienced some fine weather this week. The sun has been splitting the stones in some places and in others it’s pouring like there’s no tomorrow, so what can the country expect over the coming week?
Well, it can be tough to accurately tell what the weather is going to be like in a week’s time, but for the remainder of this week we can expect high winds and showers. Some have gone as far as to say that we can expect ‘Hurricane Charlie’ type conditions tomorrow.

Here’s what tomorrow morning looks like
According to the weather boffins over at Met Eireann, tonight will stay fairly dry, but rain will develop in the south and southeast before morning, so if you live in the Cork area then you’ve been warned.
Tomorrow doesn’t look any better as there will be some heavy rain developing in Munster and south Leinster soon after dawn, which will extend north through the morning and afternoon.

Six hours later…
Brief sunny spells will follow in places after the rain clears up, but we’ll experience mostly widespread heavy and locally thundery showers throughout the evening.
