A driver in Russia had a lucky escape on an icy road when a huge truck skidded and came within inches of destroying his car.
You really have to take extra care when driving on icy roads and this video really proves that. Driving behind a tall truck the driver of the car can’t see what’s coming ahead, unlike the driver of the tall truck however.
Coming towards them at speed is an arctic lorry that doesn’t appear to spot a snowplough clearing the road ahead. The driver of the tall truck slows to a stop so the fast moving lorry can overtake the plough but the driver of the car cant stop in time and veers into the middle of the road.
The drivers onboard camera catches the whole thing and even records what the driver (and possible passenger) said during the incident. Sadly our Russian isn’t the best but whoever is in the car goes dead silent as the truck approaches.
The video is harrowing stuff to watch first time around, but thankfully no one was injured.
