Luis Suarez will be the subject of a massive bid from Manchester City this summer, according to Sunday Times journalist Duncan Castles.
The Liverpool striker has taken his game to a whole new level this season, despite trying to instigate a move away from Anfield last summer.
Suarez signed a new deal with the club before Christmas but Castles claims that City will test his resolve to stay at Anfield by offering him lots and lots of lovely money to move up the road.
Castles also claims that Suarez is playing so well this term as ‘revenge against Rodgers’ for blocking a move to Arsenal in 2013.
Twitter, unsurprisingly, is not buying it.
I just heard on Sky Sports News that Manchester City will look to Suarez in the summer. Many have tried, you will fail. We don’t need cash!

> But to now hear that Suarez’s form this year is a “Personal Revenge” on Rodgers is astounding, not to mention insulting to Rodgers>

‘friends say’ it’s “personal revenge” Does this mean that multiple friends have all repeated the exact same phrase to the reporter? #Suarez

Let’s hope Suarez exacts more ‘personal revenge’ on Brendan Rodgers today. A hat-trick would really piss him off… pic.twitter.com/XoSdfOtnSh

I dont doubt that City want Suarez, but the “personal revenge” bollocks that has been said by @DuncanCastles is laughable

Paddy Barclay endorsing Duncan Castles. Don’t know which is more embarrassing, the endorsement or the fiction about Suarez’s revenge.
