Barcelona have reached an agreement with Werder Bremen for the transfer of German international Mesut Ozil, according to Spanish newspaper El Pais.
Ozil has agreed a four year deal with the La Liga champions worth ten million euros, according to a report in the paper on Tuesday.
Ozil, who was very impressive in Germany’s march to the semi-finals of the World Cup, had also been linked with a move to Premier League clubs Manchester United and Chelsea, as well as Barcelona’s arch rivals Real Madrid.
The transfer fee is rumoured to be in the region of 12-15 million euros.
