A single magpie constantly attacks a man in Australia whenever he goes for a cycle. It happens so frequently that the bloke decided to record it on camera.
Meet cyclist Glen Nilsen from Ransome, a suburb of Brisbane, Australia. He goes out for a leisurely cycle at least four times a week, however, during one specific part of his journey he finds himself being chased by a maverick magpie.
“He always goes for the top of your ear,” says Glen.
“He has an area 100m long where he will attack you. I’ve tried carrying sticks but he still comes at you… I had to put on ear muffs to stop him.”
Glen might need to upgrade his whacking stick to a handlebar mounted pellet gun. Although, PETA probably wouldn’t be too happy about that.
