We’re surprised it took this long, but Gaelic Footballer’s Wives has hit our screens and it brings together a concoction of characters.
The county star Decky, the loudmouth Graine, the posh new signing Ronan Fitznipple, the self-proclaimed ‘whore’ wife Aoife and the eccentric Opal Corsa come together in Ireland’s version of Dallas, set around the lives of feuding GAA players and their over ambitious, under-sexed wives.
The plot is simple, like one or two of the characters and it is the GAA world like never seen before on Irish screens.
