Here we have a video of a snowmobile rider as he gets trapped and then rescued from an avalanche. They don’t get much scarier than this.
A group of snowmobile enthusiasts decided to go for a quick spin on the side of a mountain. One of the riders’ falls of his snowmobile while another rider drives up above him on the mountain… which triggers an avalanche. The snow traps the stranded snowmobile rider and a mass search is quickly underway.
It might sound a bit like a Hollywood movie, but that’s exactly what happens in the video above.
It’s definitely the most heart-stopping video we’ve had in a while and it just goes to show the dangers involved with snowmobiling, or any snow sport for that matter.
Thankfully, no one was seriously injured.
