There are many reasons to be glad you don’t live in Russia (the crazy drivers for example), but the harsh near arctic conditions certainly have to be high up on the list.
There are only two things that can survive temperatures of -41C for days on end: the first one being a polar bear, the second being a Russian.
Here we see just how chilly it does get in the former Soviet Union when one bloke takes a pot of boiling water outside to the freeing cold air.
We’ve seen this type of video before, but no one has thrown a pot of water from such a height in such a cold temperatures.
As soon as the boiling water leaves the pot it is met with freeing air that quickly turns it into ice. In fairness, it’s a pretty cool looking man-made snowstorm.
So if you’ve ever bitched and moaned about how cold it does get here in Ireland, just remember you could always be living in Russia.
Hat tip to Paddy McKenna for sending this our way.
