The Republic of Ireland senior team kept up the momentum last night thanks to a 2-0 win over Slovenia in a FIFA World Cup Qualifier at Tallaght Stadium. Julie-Ann Russell and Fiona O’Sullivan scored the vital goals but Russell’s strike was something special.
The midfielder struck a free kick from all of 35 yards out and it sailed into the top corner, beautiful stuff…
