Some of hurling’s best known names are predicting only one result in this weekend’s All-Ireland SHC semi-final.

Cork legend Joe Deane and former Kilkenny star Michael Walsh both fancy the Cats to scrape past the Rebels and Galway’s Ollie Canning talks about bringing the curtain down on his career.

Walsh and Deane have already hung up their boots having won All Ireland medals with their native counties and the fact that medal has eluded him to date is not at this stage encouraging Ollie Canning of Galway, who has reaffirmed his desire to walk away from inter-county hurling.

The trio met in Langtons Hotel, Kilkenny earlier this week to meet fans and preview the weekend big match at the Ahead of the Game breakfast, organised by championship sponsors Centra.
