Following on from Angel di Maria’s brilliant rabona assist for Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal against Copenhagen during the week, Spanish paper Marca have compiled a list of nine great goals scored using a technique that appears to be far more popular in Spain and in South America than it is in this part of the world.
As a result, you may not recognise some of the names in the clip above, but knowing who scored the goals is unnecessary as long as you can appreciate the brilliance of them and the level of skill required to execute a technique that can make you look ridiculously foolish if it doesn’t come off.
