It was only a matter of time before someone compiled the best news bloopers from January and it wouldn’t have been complete without our very own Aengus Mac Grianna.

In this month’s ‘best news blooper compilation’, we see some seriously uncomfortable situations, a very questionable slip of the tongue and the ultimate newscaster win.

It all kicks off with RTÉ’s Aengus Mac Grianna who got caught off guard earlier this month while he was applying some make-up before the 10 O’clock news.

Our favourite, however, has to be the last one where the news reader gets to shake the hand of US Vice-President Joe Biden, but not before he asks Obama what the weather is like… sure why not? As one YouTube commenter said, ‘the last one is full of win’.

It’s a pretty good watch and it’s definitely one to bookmark for your lunchtime internet video viewing.
