Who knew watching 20 brand new Volvo trucks hijacking a motorway would be so darn entertaining? In fairness, it does look class and we’d love to be planted right in the middle of it using all the trucker jargon with the rest of the convoy. “Breaker, breaker, we’ve got a 10/15 on our tail”…
Those of you on the M7 / M50 route from Naas to Swords last week, were probably treated to this sight; 20 shiny new Volvo FH460’s making their way from Irish Commercials Volvo in Naas to Dixon International in Swords. In a tough economic climate like this, it’s good to see that someone out there is investing so much and in such a cool fashion.
While it looks pretty cool, we certainly wouldn’t want to be stuck behind them on a single lane road; there would be absolutely no chance of overtaking them.
