While out test-driving the brand-new 2013 Yamaha FJR1300A, a French journalist writing for Moto Journal managed to end up on a boat with no sign of his bike. How did he do that, we hear you ask? Simples… he drove straight off a pier and fell into a boat while his bike was lost to the abyss.
The incident occurred after the journo hit the bike’s extra-wide saddlebag off a pillar on the pier, which knocked him off balance and into the drink.
In fairness to the journo in question, Moto Journal posted the video on YouTube themselves, so either the journalist has risen above his little mishap or someone on the inside just doesn’t like him.
Then again, he could have been practicing his best James Bond impression…
