Here we have a video of what is possibly one of the scarcest incidents ever caught on a Russian highway. And there have been a few.
Imagine you’re driving up to a van that has somehow caught fire and all of sudden it explodes just as you pass it. That’s exactly what happened to a driver in Russia recently when a van stuck in the middle of the highway somehow caught fire and exploded in a massive fireball.
Watch the video above and keep an eye out for the white car that appears in the bottom left corner at around the 4-second mark. We can only assume that afterwards the driver needed to get his front seats valeted. You wouldn’t blame him though.
According to Jalopnik, the driver tried to extinguish the fire himself, however, he was unsuccessful and the fire simply took over. It then took fire fighters fifteen minutes to stop the blaze.
What we’re trying to figure out now is what in the name of God was the van driver carrying in the back of his van. Some old Christmas trees and a few boxes of fireworks, perhaps?
