Classic car drivers do their best to look after their motors so it’s rare to see a classic car crash quite like this one…
While driving along in a classic car tour around southern Australia two ultimate classics met their untimely deaths in this hard-hitting crash. The driver of the red Ford Falcon XY GT hits the brakes with a lead foot in order to avoid a car in front, which had come to rest behind another car trying to turn right.
However, due to the Ford’s old narrow tyres and old school brakes (plus the fact that classic cars rarely have the modern braking technology) the Falcon locks up and skids right into the path of a Holden EK.
The impact sends the Australian built Holden off the road and you can hear that the passenger and driver are shaken up by the whole incident. Luckily, no one was seriously hurt, except for the Ford driver’s insurance premium…
Oh and don’t worry about the date on the camera, it’s not from the future. The camera admits that it was his first time using it and he didn’t know the date would be shown. We’ll let him off this time…
