Here we have a sickening video that shows a Romanian driver risking his kids’ lives by sticking them in the boot and making them hold up the lid.
If your kids are p*ssing you off in the back seat, it’s best to just tell them that Santa won’t be coming this year, or some other sort of innocent mind trickery. But sticking them in the boot and driving down a busy road is pushing the boat out a bit.
The YouTube description of this video reads as follows: ‘Just some innocent fun’. It might look like a little innocent fun, but that doesn’t take away the fact that it’s incredibly risky and down right dangerous. Could you imagine what would happen if the driver hit a pothole at speed? One of the kids could have come flying out of the boot or the heavy lid could have slammed down on top of them.
The guy recording the whole fiasco wasn’t much better of a driver as he nearly caused an accident by stopping in the middle of the road to get a longer shot. A massive articulated lorry steams by blaring its horn at the amateur videographer. You probably would too.
Well, at least now you know what to look out for if you’re driving in Romania: kids placed randomly in/on cars and drivers suddenly stopping in the middle of the road for that perfect shot.
