Last weekend saw Liverpool enjoy a convincing win over Norwich in the league, but one Liverpool fan stole the show with his hilarious pitch invasion.
It’s not often that we see someone run onto the pitch during a professional sporting event only to get away with everything that a pitch invader dreams of. Running a muck, hugging your favourite player, flipping off the opposing fans, not getting stopped by the cops; it’s all a pitch-invading bloke could ever dream off.
And that’s exactly what happened to this lad at the weekend.
After scoring one of his three goals, Luis Suarez ran over to the corner flag to celebrate. Unsurprisingly, he was met by the majority of his teammates at the corner for the celebration… and one very excited fan decided to join in too.
Somehow the fan in question managed to break past the pitch security and then he made his way towards Suarez.
Instead of sending a barrage of officers after the man, he instead got close enough to hug Suarez and get a pat on the head off the man himself.
The rest of the video is pure pitch invader class, so we won’t ruin it. It does involve some slightly NSFW language by the Norwich fans and some certainly NSFW hand gestures by the pitch invader… not to give it away or anything.
