A man over in the US fell into a frozen lake on Christmas day, as did eight other people who were trying to rescue him.
How many people does it take to rescue a man in freezing water? A lot, apparently. This amazing footage caught on Christmas Day shows the moment a man in California overshot his run and sledded right into a frozen lake. He hits the water and quickly starts flailing and waving around in a panic, however, some of his buddies quickly rush over to help out only too lose their footing on the thin ice.
They also fall in and in total nine people ended up in the freezing waters of Jackson Lake on Christmas Day as they attempted to save the first guy who fell in.
One person can be heard saying, “That’s seriously not funny … he can’t swim”, while someone else screamed: “Call 911!”
Luckily there were people with inflatable rings nearby and after nine minutes of uncertainty, everyone got out uninjured.
