Here we have a video from China that shows us Irish traffic jams aren’t all that bad.
What happens when a traffic light goes out in Ireland? It quickly turns into a game of ‘he who dares, wins’. Not in China however where the streets are already jam packed with automobiles and if you’re stuck in traffic, you’re stuck in traffic. Remember the 60-mile traffic jam?
According to the video’s description on YouTube: “Filmed at the intersection of Chengfu Lu and Zhongguancun Donglu in Beijing. It was raining pretty hard and the traffic light a block down was out, leading to this massive clusterf**k of cars and people and scooters and bikes”.
If that’s the aftermath of one light going out in Beijing we can only imagine what would happen if they all went out. You can literally see traffic for as far as the eye can see.
Not a great time to be a delivery boy, or to have a pregnant wife.
