While out doing a spot of whale watching, this group of tourists got a little bit too close for most people’s liking.
We’re all for seeing wild animals out in their natural environment, but we won’t be going whale watching in a small boat after watching this one. The group were out in a small paddle boat trying to see humpback whales when, out of nowhere, a young whale surfaced right beside their boat.
Thankfully, the whale didn’t quite tip them over, but we’re sure everyone on the boat thought they were going for an unscheduled dip in the water. As the video description says, it was just a little ‘love tap’. If there are any Sea Shepherd lovers out there then don’t worry, the whale wasn’t caught for ‘Japanese research’ afterwards.
