Volkswagen Ireland has just announced the renewal of its association with Leinster Rugby and is once again the official car partner to the Leinster Rugby Team.

You won’t see the Leinster Rugby lads out driving Lamborghinis or Bugatti Veyrons anytime soon, mainly because they’ll be out driving in something a little more practical, but just as stylish thanks to a new 3-year deal with VW. The signing marks the renewal of an association that began in September 2009 so it’s good to see the alliance returning for another 3-years.

Leinster Rugby Chief Executive Michael Dawson said: “Volkswagen are a world-renowned international brand who share the same values as ourselves. We are delighted to renew our deal with them as they have been a committed partner in recent years and we look forward to continuing our relationship over the coming term.”

Maeve McCarey, Marketing Manager of Volkswagen Ireland said, “Volkswagen has been committed over the last 3 years to developing our association with Leinster Rugby. This has been embraced by all of our Volkswagen dealers. We are delighted to continue this successful partnership and are looking forward to continuing our support through the 2012/13 season and beyond.”

Keep your eye out on the site over the coming days as JOE’s Oisin Collins will be taking a look at the all-new VW Golf…
