World Cup drinks: Day 3

JOE wants you to taste the World Cup experience. Through alcohol, of course. Here are the favourite tipples from some of Day 3's competing nations.

Our mouths are as dry as Gandhi’s flip-flop. Two full nights on the lash and the World Cup bingeing is already taking its toll on us, right?

Anything you do today, you’re going to pay for it tomorrow, but it’s Sunday so technically it’s still the weekend. Enjoy it while you can.

If you’re in the vicinity of Galway, then hit the Skeff Bar in Eyre Square. They have the very popular Australian drink, Toohey’s Extra Dry, which is known in the vernacular as a Ted. So says Wikipedia, and who are we to argue?

The evening game sees tough nuts Serbia taking on Ghana in Group D. Jelen Pivo is a hugely popular Serbian beer. It can only be found in very select outlets, so you may have to fish about for it.

If you find it, and drink enough of it, your chick’s ass will look like that one at the top.
